Mia Moretti Thomas spent most of her childhood in Athens, Georgia. Her first public performance was at age 4 with the Sunny Side Up Band. She also sang with school ensembles and in music competitions and talent shows with her father, Chet Thomas, as an accompanist. Mia also enjoyed playing on the Varsity girls soccer team and cheerleading squad in high school. Her love for sports and music collided in college - music won!
Mia attended Stagedoor Manor, worked with UGA and Coastal Carolina professors, and moved to New York to attend the New York Film Academy, where her career started to blossom. Mia feels fortunate to have been a film and theater student at possibly the finest film academy in New York City.
"I love what I do and that passion and flare is evident for all to see when I am performing. I pour myself wholeheartedly into all I do and the people I am privileged to work with. I feel in order for a performance to really connect with the viewer or listener, all the working components must cohesively come together to create that moment of magic which leaves an audience in absolute astonishment. I simply couldn't imagine myself doing anything else."
